ReplyDeleteHave been watching the flood stories on television and the snippets on twitter; appalled at the devastation and complete insensitivity of Tony Abbott.
My step-daughters are in Ipswich, safe and sound thankfully. We spoken to them yesterday morning and last night:
17yr old: "What floods?"
15yr old: "The park floods a bit, but it's OK, it has good drainage."
Dry thoughts go to everyone in QLD. x
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting my daughter on the Sunshine Coast which has seen some flooding. Thankfully her house has not been affected. My thoughts go out to the families in Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley who have lost loved ones xo

ReplyDeleteI've been amazed at the amounts being donated by customers at the supermarket. and get this....it's the oldies, the pensioners, who are doing most of the donating.
